      Town of Homer's Lincoln Monument Project

      Plans are underway to commission Long Island sculptor Frank Porcu to create and install a tribute in bronze at the Town Hall in Homer, NY, to the three native-sons of Homer with ties to the life and iconography of President Abraham Lincoln: Francis Bicknell Carpenter, William Osborn Stoddard, and Eli DeVoe.

      Third Annual Cortland County Art Teachers Exhibit at the Center for the Arts in Homer

      Opening Reception for the 3rd Annual "Teacher's Show" is being held in our Borg Warner Morse TEC gallery on Friday March 7, at 6 pm.

      This exhibit will be on display through March 22 and feature the work of twenty current and former area Art Teachers from the 7 school districts in Cortland County. There will be light refreshments and snacks during the reception. The reception is free and open to the public.
      Teachers participating in this year's exhibit are Rona Knobel, Terry Perkins, Christa Boice, Beth Gailor, Kristy Tartaglia, Lauren Flood, Maksi Warner, Michele Piotti, Sara Bailey, Jessica Tarry, David Quinlan, Robin Jackson, Cheri Sheridan, Annette McMahon, Paul Andre, Brian Wallace, Jen Morse, Brookley Spanbauer, Jesse Bender, and Sandy Yahner.
      The exhibit will be open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4:30 pm or by appointment. For more information please call (607) 749-4900.
